We all have our favourite child's drawing that we would like to keep forever.... Here at Extra Special Touch, we can convert your drawing into embroidery and then either have it framed for the wall.... or made into a cushion. What a unique feature for their bedroom! This would be a great gift for Mum's and Dad's and Grandparents too.

The drawing needs to be on white paper and using thick tip felt pens or gel crayons (not wax crayons or coloured pencils. We suggest Berol Coloured Markers & Early Learning Centre Gel Crayons). Please limit the amount of colours used, to no more than ten, and don't add too much detail. Please have a look at some examples below

Please order your cushion or framed embroidery through our online shop and remember to scan your child's picture and email it to us as an attachment to heidi@extraspecialtouch.co.uk Please tell us the name, age and date the drawing was done.

Frame size 33cm x 33cm, finished embroidery size 18.5cm x 18.5cm. The cushion is about 40cm square, the cover is made of linen / cotton fabric and has synthetic filling.

Most drawings can be converted, but not all. We will contact you if we need to “touch up” your child’s drawing, eg. Fill in any gaps of colour, thicken outlines.

We will contact you if we have problems converting your drawing, and we can discuss us editing your children’s drawings to enhance the quality of the embroidery, eg. Fill in gaps in coloured in area’s, thicken outlines, and tidy up edges of elements of the drawing.
